About
me
I
have taught in the Bethalto
School District since 1995. I have a degree in elementary education
with endorsements in language arts (30 hours), social science, and
business marketing. My masters degree is in instructional technology. I
have taken classes beyond the masters degree in gifted education and
middle school
methods.
My
husband, Dennis, is the
grain manager for Shipman Elevator. I have three daughters: Joey Zimmer
is a speech pathologist for the Hazelwood School District; Ann Twente
is a stay-at-home mother of four; Lauren McCann did teach pre-school
but is now the stay-at-home mother of two young sons.
I
have seven grandchildren ages seven and under.
Technology
is a passion of
mine and I love using it in the classroom to enhance learning
and to teach students skills that they will use every day once they
